Nokia XR20 smartphone with 48MP camera, military-grade design goes on sale
HMD Global launched the Nokia XR20 in the Indian market at Rs 46,999 on October 18 and now the smartphone is available for purchase. The device can be bought from offline retail stores, e-commerce platforms and Nokia.com. At the time of launch, the brand offered free gifts including Nokia Power Earbuds Lite worth Rs 3599 to customers who pre-booked the device. Currently, if you buy the smartphone from the company's official website you will get a one-year screen damage protection plan at no extra cost.
Nokia XR20: Design and display
The XR20 is the company’s first smartphone with military-grade design in India. As per the company, the device can survive in extreme temperatures ranging from 55-degrees to 20-degrees Celsius and 1.8-metre drops. The company also claimed that the smartphone can stay under water for one hour. The phone features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It is available in two colour options - Ultra-blue and Granite.
Nokia XR20: Processor and features
Nokia XR20 smartphone is powered by a octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The dual-SIM phone comes with Android 11 out-of-the-box and offers Stock Android experience.
In terms of connectivity, the device gets Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, NFC, USB-C and others. The smartphone also features a fingerprint scanner. The phone packs a 4,630mAh battery with 18W wired and 15W wireless charging options.

For photos and videos, the smartphone features a dual rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide shooter. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie shooter. The camera setup has Zeiss optics. On the software front, there's SpeedWarp mode and Action Cam mode. For videos, there's OZO spatial audio with wind-noise cancellation.
