At a special launch event on December 26, tech brand Xiaomi unveiled their new custom OS MIUI 13 based on the latest Android 12. It has been launched in China as an upgraded version of the existing MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition custom operating system. The company's latest flagship smartphone series, the Xiaomi 12, also debuted at the Virtual Launch event the day before yesterday, and all three phones in the series have this next-generation custom skin pre-installed. However, unlike the recently launched series, how many other Xiaomi smartphones will get the MIUI 13 software update? This question is now on the minds of almost every Shaomi-lover. Xiaomi has rolled out the beta version of MIUI 13 custom OS
According to the China-based tech company, the beta version of MIUI 13 has been rolled out for existing devices, and some of the smartphones selected in the first phase will receive updates to the beta version of the new user interface. Again, only the beta version of the software has been released and the stable version will be available from the last half of January.
Developed based on the Android 12 operating system launched this year, this update comes with version number 21.12.28 (21.12.27). By the way, the new MIUI 13 will offer multiple benefits including custom skin, optimized performance, more enhanced security and privacy features, and Shaomi's own smart ecology product.

However, it is not yet known which models will be included in the second and third phase release timelines.
