Walton's new 4 antenna dual band router in the market
Walton DG-Tech Industries Limited has launched a new model of Wi-Fi router. The main attraction of this router of WR15 model in the packaging of 'Wave' brand is dual band technology. With a speed of 1200 Mbps, this router is capable of delivering speeds up to 300 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band and up to 8 Mbps in the 5 GHz band.
The router has 4 5 dbi antennas, which will give the user more advanced wireless internet transmission by increasing the signal strength. There is also omni-directional technology, which is capable of providing powerful network coverage everywhere in the home or office. It has multi user multi input multi output (MU-MIMO) technology so multiple devices can be quickly connected to the router without any break.
The WR15 model router has 3 LAN and 1 WAN ports. As a result, broadband internet can be used on 3 devices through cable connection. It has advanced beamforming technology for more advanced wireless reception. There is also the facility to restrict the Internet to specific devices by filtering MAC addresses and to blacklist any device from the network. For security the router has built-in firewall and 64/126 bit encrypted protection.
Shahadat Hussain, product manager for Walton Routers and Network Devices, said the router in the 2.4 GHz band in the open space is capable of providing Wi-Fi coverage up to 1400-1600 square feet. This coverage is available in the 5 GHz band up to 600-700 square feet. In addition to using the latest technology chipset, this model of router will be able to give customers much more benefits than all the models of routers currently in the market.
